My name is Taylor Woodworth. I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1992 and have been making glass in my hometown since September 2014 until I moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2024. I have always been interested in art my whole life, so when my friend built his own home studio and invited me to try glassblowing for my first time, I was instantly hooked.  I still own the first thing I’d ever made on the torch, a small green pendant. Since that day, I began submersing myself in the culture and industry and learning as much as I could. I started skating to my friends studio to practice part time and slowly started buying the equipment I would need to eventually build my own studio, which I did in 2016 when I bought my first home. I quit my last job in 2019, the same year I graduated college and got married, and decided to go full time as a glass artist. This art form is different than any medium I have ever worked with in the past. The possibilities seem endless, there’s always more I can learn.
